The roleYou will provide a full range of manufacturing support at our Urbana, OH facility.
Duties include but are not limited to:
General machine set-up and troubleshooting, utilizing safe operating procedures, and collaboration with team members throughout the facility.
Current and Future Schedule:
This department is moving to a 3-2-2 schedule upon successful completion of training and adequate staffing; we are projected to move to this schedule in 2024.
Current schedule:

00pm to 7:
00am, running 5 to 6 days a week on a three shift schedule (1st shift, 2nd Shift, and 3rd Shift)Future schedule:

00am, 3-2-2 schedule you will work on average 14-17 days per month.

40 (including shift differential) with opportunities to advance after 90 days How you'll make an impactSet-up machine(s) per customer/order specification (make-to-order products)Troubleshoot and adjust machine controls and componentsCommunicate with other departments to request raw materials and supplies to eliminate the need for downtimeDocument and explain all production data according to proceduresObserve the operation of the machine to detect and correct machine malfunctionsPerform quality inspectionsNote:

years of manufacturing experience preferredComprehend and apply basic reading, arithmetic, and geometry (testing required)Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper, and micrometerAbility to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environmentPhysical requirements - lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing between 50 - 100 lbs, depending on the machine and work in a not climate-controlled environment.
