The role As a member of the Urbana team and aiding in the production of our paper machine, you will be relied upon to achieve optimum productivity while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Hours:
12 hour rotating shifts; 2 weeks on 7:
00am to 7:
00pm then rotate to 2 weeks on 7:
00pm to 7:
00am Starting rate $22.
15 with opportunities to advance after 90 days How you'll make an impact Adhere to company's safety policies and regulations Comprehensive understanding of personal and machine specific safety Maintain safe, clean work environment Physically inspect, communicate and troubleshoot quality of product and customer/order specifications Retrieve order specs, documentation and order data to/from SAP Follow job specific procedures during paper machine shut down; ability to assist in orderly start up and/or shut down paper machine Cut and/or set cores Assist with paper machine operations and stock prep area Assist Flex, Stock Prep and Winder operator when required Process rolls to customer specifications Assist in machine maintenance and perform periodic maintenance to machine Move material to and around paper mill and stock prep area What do you bring High School Diploma or GED Physical requirements - lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing up to 100 lbs Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment Must be able to work in a team environment Required to train on multiple positions within the machine Ability to train others Job Type:
