The Production Team is looking to fill the role of Packer in their Dayton, Ohio facility.
The Packer is responsible for ensuring products are produced and packed for shipping to customers in accordance safety, quality and production standards.
The Dayton facility (located in Urbana, Ohio) is one of the primary manufacturing sites for producing customized thin-wall injection molded containers, lids, overcaps and custom packaging solutions for branded and private label food and consumer product companies all over the world.

A reliable, dependable candidate who will bring a team player mindset with the ability to work autonomously as needed.
The successful candidate will:
Conduct work order verification by verifying and logging required information from the work order at each production assignedEnsure carton (box) labels staged at press are filled out and/or used in numerical order, in accordance with instructionsPack parts in boxes as directed by work order and quality standardsMake cartons (boxes) as needed for parts being run on the production presses assigned by following construction and storage requirementsRe-stock production press with correct packaging materials Place cartons (boxes) in proper configuration on pallet per work order and/or supervisor instructionInspect parts on all sides when taking parts off the parts handling equipment to ensure they meet documented quality standardsPick out defects while continuing to pack good partsPack parts for sort/rework/repack if authorized by Supervisor or Quality AuditorSort good parts and pack for shipment while placing parts with defects into bags to be tagged for regrindMaintain good general housekeeping in workstationStrictly adhere to all documented and enforced GMP and Food Safety policiesAll other duties as assignedAbout the Company:
