The roleThe Process Controls Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing projects including the installation of instrumentation and controls and the replacement of Distributed Control Systems and automated machinery at our Urbana, OH facility.
How you'll make an impactProvide application/control design, architecture, and development for systems of varied complexityDevelop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet stated customer requirementsCreate/modify program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystemsProficient in several programming languages and control device networks including, but not limited to Siemens, Allen Bradley, and ABBProficient with HMI design, PID loops, Machine networkingInteracts with customers, engineering, maintenance, and production employees to resolve issues and identify opportunities What do you bringDegree in Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in industrial controls or 10 years of Controls experience in a manufacturing plant (paper manufacturing preferred)Extensive development experience with ABB DCS, Siemens, or Allen Bradley controlsStrong project management and leadership skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsWalking, stooping, lifting, and ability to work in a hot and humid environment for extended periods What do we offer?Medical insurance with an accompanying health savings account, vision and dental insurance, PTO starting your FIRST day401k plan with company match, Company paid basic life and AD&D insurance, STD and LTDEmployee assistance programEmployee referral programAdditional company programs include:
