My name is Crystal and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Product Manufacturing Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Urbana, OH. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Provide technical support and leadership to resolve manufacturing, test, quality and supplier issues.
Responsibilities:
Improve production processes to achieve site and functional goals.
Provide technical support and leadership for lean, kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Specify tooling needed to support production operations.
Design/develop production processes, as required, to ensure efficient operations from receiving through to final test.
Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action activities for customer escapes to establish controls for quality improvement.
Review incumbent test solutions against current 'best-in-class' practices. Improve where warranted.
Define Production flow and layout to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Determine Production Capacity and ensure adequacy of test solutions.
Review and approve test equipment designs, manufacturing strategy, and other criteria.
